Hands-On Workshop: Open Data

Hands-On Workshop: Open Data

Freely available data has the power to inform research, empower citizens, create new business and solve big public problems. Learn more about Open Data and what you can do with it by attending this workshop!

Presenter: Andrew Carlos, CSUEB Library Faculty member, liaison for Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Science, Engineering, Geography and Environmental Studies, Geology, and Psychology

We will first define and explore open data sources, and then play around with some open data sets. Bring your laptop, but if you don't have one, we will provide you with one during the workshop.
