Films Without Borders: A Short Film & Cultural Exchange Night In-Person

The purpose of Films Without Borders is to create a space where international and domestic students can explore global perspectives through short films and shared discussion. This event supports ASI’s mission of promoting inclusion, intercultural understanding, and accessibility by showcasing stories from diverse cultures with closed captions for all attendees. To ensure everyone feels included, the featured film will be lighthearted and language-neutral, eliminating any language barriers while fostering laughter and connection.

In addition to the screening, we’ll set up small interactive table games to help students relax, connect, and de-stress during the week leading up to exams. Overall, the event encourages thoughtful dialogue, cultural appreciation, and community building, offering students a meaningful yet fun break from their academic routine.
